From a youthful education which bounced between blues and Cuban classical guitar,
Paul Holmes Morton culminated his schooling with a specialized focus in Baroque continuo performance practice, providing an improvised gamut of textures and harmonies applied to opera, orchestra, chamber music, and vocal accompaniment. Traveling throughout the world as a continuo lutenist, Paul performs regularly with Ruckus,
Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado, Mercury and more.

The Juilliard School (2014- 2016) Master’s Diploma in Historical Performance Studies.
-studio of Daniel Swenberg/Charles Weaver. Performed with guest conductors/leaders including Monica Huggett, Robert Mealy, Masaaki Suzuki, Rachel Podger, Jordi Savall, William Christie, Richard Egarr and Steven Stubbs.

Spoleto Festival USA (2019-2020) Performing theorbo, guitar, banjo for the long standing chamber series in Charleston, SC
Angel's Bone (2018-2020)- Renaissance lutenist for Du Yun's Pulitzer Prize winning opera.
Ruckus (2016-present)- founding member of group devoted to exploring historical music, featured performances of Handel’s Aci, Galatea, e Polifemo at National Sawdust in Brooklyn, NY, and a performance at the historic Caramoor theater in New York featuring counter tenor Anthony Roth Costanzo. Inwood Baroque (2015-present)- Founding member of ensemble specializing in 17th/18th century French chamber works. Recent appearances include performances in New York City, Pennsylvania, The Santa Cruz Foundation for the Performing Arts in Arizona, and educational outreach in Belize.
Handel Haydn Society (2015)- Chamber sonatas of Dario Castello directed by Richard Egarr.
